LaZavian Burrell, one of my students from this past school year was severely injured in a fire on July 24.  He was burned over 85% of his body, losing much skin on his face and ears and hands.  He had surgery on Monday, and goes back to Texas Children's on Friday, for another skin graft. 

 

The Lufkin Daily News has helped to set up an account for him, to help with expenses-- trips back and forth to Houston are expensive.  Please keep his healing in your prayers, as well as their financial situation.  It breaks my heart to know that one of my "babies" is hurt so badly, and I know that you will stand with me in prayer that he will heal quickly, and as painfree as possible.
